Places are filling fast on our three Coach Support Worker courses scheduled around the county during March and April 2018.
The CSW courses are aimed at individuals who are looking to assist in the delivery of high quality practical cricket coaching sessions within a club environment, under the direct supervision of an ECB qualified coach.
The course replaces the previous ECB Coach Assistant UKCC1 course and is the first step onto the ECB Coach Education pathway.
At just 6 hours long it is the ideal way for parents, volunteers or teachers to gain the confidence, knowledge and understanding required to support the delivery of cricket coaching sessions at their club or school.
The course is delivered by qualified ECB tutors in a fun and fast moving environment and will cover all the key coaching and associated areas including: games, skills, techniques, safety, umpiring, warm up, cool down and working effectively as part of the coaching team.
In addition our tutors will look to tailor each individual course to the requirements of the candidates.
As part of the course candidates will be required to complete an online Safeguarding Young Cricketers module and an ECB DBS formally CRB, Vetting check.
Candidates must be 16 years of age to undertake the CSW course.
The cost per course is £45.00 for SCB Affiliated Club members or £55.00 for non-members.
