Silent Auction

You may or may not be aware that Somerset Cricket Board are organising an 11 night tour to Sri Lanka in February 2018 (6th - 18th) for U15 boys and U17 girls. This will become an annual tour for our U15 boys and a bi–annual tour for our U17 girls.

We have organised the tour for two reasons:

1) Cricketing - To give players the opportunity to play cricket in an environment so wonderfully different from our own and develop new facets to their game as a result.

2) Cultural and social - Deliver a cultural experience and create memories that will last a lifetime and help shape personalities.

To help raise funds,  we are running a silent auction and raffle.  All monies raised will go towards the funding of the 2018 Sri Lanka Tour.

The items to be auctioned are:

A reserve has been set, if the winning bid does not meet the reserve,  the items will be re-auctioned.  Auction ends Midnight 17 December 2017.  All items available for delivery / collection before Christmas.


To help reduce the costs of touring Sri Lanka for our u15 boys and u17 girls squads in 2018, we are running a raffle with some fantastic prizes!

The cost of five tickets is just £5 with all proceeds going towards reducing costs for the 2018 Sri Lanka tour players.

The draw will be made on the 31st January 2018 and our list of current prizes are as follows:

1st prize - Weekend break for four at the Clowance Estate in Cornwall
2nd prize - Dinner, bed and breakfast for two at Widbrook Grange, Bradford on Avon
3rd prize - Four-ball with buggies at Cumberwell Park Golf Course
4th prize - Oakley sunglasses and clothing bundle (supplied by
