Coaching Opportunities with SCB

As a member of the Somerset Coaches Association we would like to make you aware of some possible coaching opportunities with The Somerset Cricket Board (SCB).

SCB is the local governing body for cricket in the county and our key role is to facilitate the playing and improvement of recreation cricket in Somerset. The board is working with a large number of organisations, across a range of different areas throughout the County and as a result there are increasing demands for highly qualified coaches to carry out work on behalf of the SCB.

To enable us to meet these growing demands and ensure that the right people are coaching in the right places we are trying to build a database of coaches who are able to coach and would like to become part of the SCB team. The opportunities include Chance to Shine coaching in schools, both during the school day and in after-school clubs, district boys, district girls, holiday camps and group coaching.

If working for the Somerset Cricket Board sounds like something that would interest you and you hold (or are in the process of gaining) a Level 2 cricket coaching qualification or above then please click here and complete the short application form.
