The Somerset Cricket Board recognise the importance of competition for school pupils learning to play the game. There continues to be numerous competition formats in 2018 which offers great oppotunities for young players either giving cricket a go for the first time, or developing their pre-existing skills further in both school cricket and then on to their clubs. On top of these structured tournaments with pathways to County and in many cases National Finals, there are also a great many number of informal competitions held locally between two or three schools. Finally, the importance of intra-school cricket matches cannot be underestimated as these often provide a vital platform for those pupils who are not yet part of a school team but are keen to play the game of cricket in a competitive and fun environment.

All of this year's competitions can be found in the drop down menu on the left of this page and finalists, county champions and other success stories will be regularly updated.
